The Clissold family have over 35 years experience in assisting teachers and lecturers and their students make the most of their out of classroom experience. Course notes are avail or we can assist develop your own program.

World Heritage Parks

Explore Werrikimbe – our world heritage listed national park.

Recognised world-wide as special, explore Werrikimbe during your stay at Mount Seaview. The world heritage listed national park is home to a cool temperate rain forest, Antarctic beech trees and picnic areas and look outs. Take a picnic from the Mount Seaview café and enjoy in the lush, bushland. Accessible by 2 or 4 wheel drive vehicles, it’ll be a day to remember!

And don’t miss the other national and state forests parks that are all close by including , Oxley Wild Rivers, Cotton-Bimbang, Biriwal Bulga, Mummel, Willi Willi National Parks and Doyles River and Kerewong State Forest.

Choose to be married by the river or elsewhere on our property, followed by a reception that could be casual, formal or anything in between. We’ll work with you to ensure your special day is everything you’ve dreamed of. Our beautiful natural setting makes for photographs you’ll treasure.

Mount Seaview can be central for many people travelling from different parts of the country. You and up to 150 guests can enjoy on-site motel and lodge-style accommodation.

With conference facilities catering from small groups up to 150 people, Mount Seaview makes a great choice for company retreats; big or small! We’ll work with you to ensure your event goes seamlessly and can incorporate team activities such as 4WDing, hiking, orienteering or even ‘boot camp’ activities.

Mount Seaview offers a variety of accommodation options. Lodges: sleeping up to 5 people per room, those accommodated in our lodge have access to communal kitchen and dining areas and shared bathroom facilities.

Motel: Our self rated 3-star motel provides comfortable rooms for those seeking a more private experience.

Units: Our self-contained units provide all the creature comforts, including limited self-catering facility!

We have plenty of experience working with groups of all different descriptions. We provide groups with the option to self-cater, or we can provide full or partial catering. We’ll work with you to suit your needs. Strictly no BYO.

Getting Here

175 Mount Seaview Road , Mount Seaview 2446 which a scenic drive only 57kms west of Wauchope and 108kms east of Walcha on the Oxley Highway., what are you waiting for? No transport – we can arrange pick-up from Port Macquarie airport or Wauchope train station. International visitors and tour groups transportation can be arranged.

It’s the journey, not just the destination when making your way to our idyllic setting of Mount Seaview. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way – fully sealed roads right to our door. Only an hour from Port Macquarie along the Oxley Highway, you’ll travel through beef & dairy country. We are just a bit over an hour away from The New England tableland and sheep country.

4WD & Quad Bike Tours

Operating for more than 35 years, Ralph Clissold’s 4WD tours have been enjoyed by thousands of local and international visitors.

Ralph Clissold has experience coordinating the best 4WD tours throughout Australia and overseas! Some of the most spectacular tours take place in Mount Seaview’s backyard, experiencing the local sub-tropical and cool temperate rainforest, old gold mining areas, glow worm caves and the old convict highway.

Enjoy our popular half-day property and rainforest tour or a full day tour to local the Cell’s River and travel the convict built highway, see glow worms, pan for gold or swim under the waterfall. Or take a 2 1/2 hour adventure quad bike tour exploring the property.We can tailor a trip to cater for all sorts of special interests.
